Deep colour. An intense, delicate, subtle and complex nose. Very neat and regular on the palate upon attack leading to volume and a nicely round structure. Highly powerful, great length, dense and purely elegant.

"Initially dense, almost black enough to be attacked with a knife. But then it becomes apparent that this is a beautifully integrated, balanced wine, bringing together power, with the hallmark Lafite style and poise. In the end, you have a wine that promises an impressive aging potential along with delicious black currant fruits, acidity and a layer of striking tannins. Imported by Domaines Barons de Rothschild and multiple U.S. importers".

"Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, faint watery edge. On the nose somewhat restrained roasted aromas, delicate roasted plum, inviting berry confit, orange zest, fine tobacco nuances, smoky, cedary savouriness. On the palate dark berry fruit, cherry, vivid tannins, which are well integrated, but at the same time still demanding, at the moment somewhat closed, sweet roasted aromas, pleasant freshness. Future potential, great, complex wine".
