2020 is a typical vintage marked by a historical precocity and a very good health of the harvest. Despite the hail of August 1st which caused more than 30 % loss on the south of the appellation.
Halfway between Prémeaux and Nuits-Saint-Georges, Les Saint Georges is undoubtedly the most well-known vintage of the commune. ldeally located flush withthe hillside, with an eastern exposition, the vine blossoms on a large range of soils. Les Saint Georges are complex and elegant wines, marked by the fruit purity, the subtlety of the tannins, and the nobility of the cru. A file is in progress to request its classification as a Grand Cru. Located at the mid-slope, complex soils, composed of limestone screes of sand from the top of the hillside, and clay.
